Jarly ("a jar of warmth") is a tiny shared space for a couple. You link with your other half once, and from then on your care has a visible shape: kind acts become hearts in a jar, moods are shared instead of guessed, wishes stop getting forgotten, letters wait for the right day, and even arguments get a gentle way to end.
Why we built it
Most couple apps are either chore trackers or greeting-card fluff. We wanted something in between: an app that makes the small, everyday warmth visible — the flowers, the apologies, the "I noticed you were tired" — without turning the relationship into a to-do list. The jar felt right: warmth adds up, and you can watch it fill.
What's inside
- One shared jar. You mark a kind act, your other half confirms it, and a heart in your color drops into the jar — up to 7 a month, so each one counts.
- A shop of kind acts. Built-in acts plus your own, priced 1–3 hearts.
- Memories. Attach photos and a caption to any heart — the jar becomes an album of your warm moments.
- Mood. A slider with a living smiley, "what would help me right now" chips, and your other half's mood in real time.
- "Let's make up." Each of you writes in private with gentle prompts. The notes open at the same time — the server makes sure nobody reads first. Then take a step towards each other: pick an act from the shop and add a heart. Not ready yet? You can cool down first.
- Time capsules. A letter that opens on the day you choose — for your anniversary or for a sad day.
- Wishes and places. Wishes with photos, links, prices and categories, secret wishes only you can see — and places you want to visit together or have already been to.
- A profile for two. How long you've been together, your important dates and the people you love, with a countdown to each.
- His & Hers. Two themes, warm and calm, so the app retints itself to whoever is holding it — and your own color for your hearts in the jar.
- Private by design. One pair, real-time sync, English and Russian, no ads, no tracking.
Jarly is free to download and has no ads. Jarly Plus lifts the limits — like the cap on saved places.
